Upgrade your storage with this External SSD! Its fast speeds of over 1000MB/s (on type C-C connections) make the drive suitable for frequent large file transfers; the drive is also great for gaming. You can plug and play quickly on PlayStation consoles, too! We recommend using a Type-C to Type-C cable on PS5/Xbox Series X/PC to make use of the available speeds.

The product is designed to transfer 80% of the latent heat to the metal outer casing, to reduce the likelihood of thermal throttling. This means the outer shell casing can get hot, whilst the drive remains cool. The drive also has a LED indicator so you know when it is active. It’s small size also makes it very portable.

Drive used: KingSpec NVMe Gen3 (NX) M.2 SSD (2000MB/s raw speed). Includes USB 3.0 A-C cable only.

Note: Drives formatted as PlayStation External Storage will need to be reformatted before being used on other devices (but can be used interchangeably on PS4/5 consoles). By default, the device comes with an exFAT filesystem.
